Your home for the week is the elegant Distillery Hotel in Pézenas — a beautifully restored boutique hotel set within a former wine and brandy distillery. With stylish ensuite rooms, a tranquil courtyard, and a refreshing pool, it’s the perfect base to unwind after a day of painting and exploration.

Each day, Liz will guide you through plein-air oil painting sessions in a variety of inspiring locations — from cobbled village streets and rustic stone mills to rolling vineyards and the glittering Mediterranean coast. You’ll even visit one of the region’s oldest wineries, for a day of painting accompanied by a wine tasting.

When it comes to dining, you’ll enjoy a delicious mix of local French cuisine. Five evenings feature relaxed dinners in the hotel’s restaurant, while two nights are spent dining out in the charming heart of Pézenas. Lunchtimes are a delightful blend of light lunches in a local bistros and picnics.
